Modern mobility means: emission-free fuels and efficient drive systems that contribute to the achievement of Germany’s climate protection goals. NOW GmbH supports these goals by coordinating the German government’s technology-open programmes for battery electric mobility, the Mobility and Fuels Strategy, the Charging Infrastructure for Electric Mobility programme as well as the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Programme. The development and implementation of alternative energies and alternative drive systems in the transport sector were also supported and implemented in 2019.
The 2019 Annual Report, which has now been presented, brings together information on all projects completed and approved in the year under review as well as providing details of projects from the coordinated programmes. Other main areas of focus are the hydrogen regions in the HyLand project, the expansion of municipal networking and the establishment of the German National Centre for Charging Infrastructure at NOW GmbH.
The annual report is available for download. A printed version is also obtainable on request.
