Transfer of automotive H2 FC technology to the Antares E2 demonstrator
The H2GA project will develop the Antares E2 demonstrator from methanol fuel cells to hydrogen technology. Innovations from the automotive industry will be used and modified for aviation. Two different tank geometries will be investigated as part of the corresponding energy storage development. The aim is to develop a modular FC system with six times 15 kW to power six propellers and to demonstrate and test the entire system in flight, whereby configuration is already being prepared with a view to the subsequently planned series application.
