Development of a zero-emission FC battery hybrid system for a passenger aircraft

Go4Hy2 builds on the results of the previous project Go4H2. The goal is a fail-safe powertrain system solution in the 250kW range with a 2-3 times higher power density than previously, which is suitable as a starting point for scaling up to larger power outputs and enables almost complete single failure system reliability. The fuel cell hybrid propulsion system to be developed will be integrated into an existing flight platform. Corresponding proof of the safe operation of the new propulsion system in the aircraft needs to be provided as part of the necessary permit-to-fly.
