In 2023, the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV) will again grant funding for the procurement of electric vehicles and the charging infrastructure required to operate them.
The funding calls will be published in the spring and are aimed on the one hand at companies, non-profit associations and organisations, and on the other hand towards municipalities and publicly-owned institutions.
Applications can then be submitted via the easy-Online funding portal.

Funding guideline information
Funding is provided on the basis of the current Electric Mobility Funding Guideline of the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) of 15.12.2020.
With the investment funding offered since 2015, more than 1,100 projects involving almost 20,000 vehicles and nearly 8,700 charging infrastructure units have already been approved. This programme has also approved around 350 concept projects with diverse objectives and 30 research and development projects that support the market ramp-up of electric mobility, either in preparation or as an accompanying measure.
