With a further call for funding within the framework of the National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP 2), the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI – Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur) is now also supporting the procurement of fuel cell passenger cars.
A total of up to 5 million euros has been allocated for funding under this call. The deadline for the submission of applications is 31.01.2020.
Funding will be provided for fuel cell vehicles to be used as passenger cars in vehicle fleets. To be eligible for funding, at least three vehicles must be purchased per application. The minimum number can be achieved by establishing a regional procurement network.
