Under the motto “The Path of Hydrogen – Infrastructure, Refuelling and Storage Systems” (“Der Weg des Wasserstoffs – Infrastruktur, Betankung und Speichersysteme"), the 8th Supplier Marketplace for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology today brought together representatives from the supplier industry for hydrogen and fuel cell technology.
For the eighth time, the Supplier Marketplace for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology was organised by NOW GmbH in Berlin. The event sees itself as a forum for cross-sector dialogue in the area of technologies and possible applications of hydrogen in mobility. This year’s discussion focused on all upstream processes and technologies for the use of hydrogen. Topics relevant to the infrastructure were addressed, from transportation and filling stations with refuelling, to the safe storage of hydrogen in vehicles.
Formats for exchange in all market segments
Decision-makers from marketing, sales and product development had the opportunity to discuss synergies and explore business collaborations. In this way, the event offered a platform where all market segments could meet – from system and component manufacturing and the infrastructure side to the manufacturing and production plant industry. The programme included technical presentations on the topics of infrastructure expansion, hydrogen filling stations, components and systems, as well as interdisciplinary topics, including regulations, codes and standards. There was also opportunity for companies to make a brief presentation in the form of elevator pitches, followed by a world café to identify challenges in infrastructure development, needs for information and funding, as well as possible cooperation and specialist workshops.
