In-der-City-Bus GmbH orders hydrogen infrastructure from Everfuel and places planning, construction and commissioning in the hands of the Danish company.

In a Europe-wide tendering process, In-der-City-Bus GmbH (ICB) has awarded the hydrogen infrastructure provider Everfuel GmbH the contract for the planning, construction and commissioning of a hydrogen filling station, including maintenance and servicing. Furthermore, Everfuel was also awarded the contract for the supply of hydrogen. The contracts signed today have a term of three years with the option of extension to a maximum of five years. For Everfuel GmbH, this is the first contract in Germany since the company was founded in early 2021.

The planned hydrogen filling station will have the capacity to refuel at least 22 fuel cell buses per day. It is designed to be fully redundant and modular, so that the facility can easily be expanded to refuel a larger number of hydrogen buses. The green hydrogen (H2) used will be delivered by innovative H2 trailers from Everfuel. As a result, this project contributes significantly to the reduction of climate-damaging greenhouse gases.
