Investigation into the safety testing procedure and evaluation for the detection of leaks in hydrogen systems
The H2LeakDect project aims to develop an innovative optical test method for the automated detection and localisation of hydrogen leaks in hydrogen components and systems. The objective is to provide both quantifiable measurements and localised leakage detection in different setups in real time. The measuring system should be capable of such sensitive level of detection that it is suitable for monitoring the “below explosion limit” safety criterion in an industrial environment.
