During the 2nd E-Mobility Forum held in Friedrichshafen, NOW GmbH provided information on refuelling and charging infrastructure as well as on funding opportunities provided by the BMVI.

Berlin, Friedrichshafen, 12.10.2018 – Participants at the 2nd E-Mobility Forum in Friedrichshafen came together on 9 October 2018 under the motto “The four-country region as the driver of the mobility transition”. Philipp Braunsdorf, Programme Manager Hydrogen Infrastructure at NOW GmbH, provided information on the subject of refuelling and charging infrastructure at the fully booked event. “We are delighted that the Bodensee-Kreis is so actively addressing the topic of electric mobility. The event reflects the special dynamics in the region. Since 2008, the BMVI has been promoting market preparation and the development of electric mobility with batteries and fuel cells – including projects being conducted in this region. The wide-ranging initiatives spanning from car sharing to the integration of public transport show that electric mobility is genuinely seen here as a central component of the shift in mobility,” said Philipp Braunsdorf. Organizer Bernhard Schultes was also very pleased with the event: “150 participants demonstrate the high level of interest that exists to gain practical hands-on knowledge on all aspects of electric mobility in our four-country region.”

The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI – Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur) supports the development of electric mobility in municipalities throughout Germany. The corresponding funding programmes are coordinated by NOW GmbH. Participants were also able to obtain detailed information about funding opportunities at the Electric Mobility Roadshow stand.
