Pedestrian traffic is free, environmentally-friendly and everywhere, which is why walking is receiving more and more attention in climate-friendly mobility. But what is missing? Space for all those who would like to walk.

As part of the NaKoMo workshop series: “Redistribution of public space”, participants from the federal government, federal states, state networks, municipalities and municipal companies discussed challenges and proposals for innovative solutions on the topic of pedestrian traffic.

We have neatly summarised the most important findings of the exchange on a single page, such as: how can conflicts between bicycle and pedestrian traffic be resolved? How do you design a pedestrian-friendly mobility policy?
