Development of an 18m articulated bus with fuel cell and modular components

This project aims to develop 18m hydrogen-powered articulated buses using a modular approach. It will also investigate and evaluate operational issues and economic (productivity, flexibility) and functional impacts of the city buses.

The purpose is to achieve the highest possible planning reliability for the future design of a growing fleet of buses with hydrogen fuel cell drives in regular service (investments, feasibility, effects on the range of services, etc.). The findings obtained are then to be applied to planned hydrogen bus systems in other large cities.
