E-Cell-Rex

Based on previous findings with H2 FC hybrid and pure battery-electric city buses, a new vehicle concept is being developed within the scope of this project that combines the individual advantages of both technologies. The deployment of an appropriately dimensioned fuel cell as a range extender ensures that the high performance and range requirements of a city bus can be met. The development and optimisation of the drive concept therefore focuses on achieving the highest level economic attractiveness of a series-produced vehicle possible.
