The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) will in future provide funding for the development of charging infrastructure at employee parking lots, for electric vehicles in company or municipal fleets, and for other vehicles used for business purposes.

The new “Non-Publicly Accessible Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles – Companies and Municipalities” (“Nicht öffentlich zugängliche Ladestationen für Elektrofahrzeuge – Unternehmen und Kommunen”) funding guideline adds an important component to electric mobility support. Funding is available for the acquisition and construction of new stationary charging stations that are not accessible to the public, including the grid connection.

Manufacturers of charging equipment have the opportunity to have their products assessed for eligibility. If all technical requirements are met, the products will be added to the list of eligible charging devices. This can be requested at this link.

Further information on the funding guideline can be found here.

We will inform you about the new funding guideline in our online seminar (in German) being held 08.12.2021, 8:30am–9:30am.

During our online seminar, Mona Mühlbäck (Ministry of Transport Baden-Württemberg) will start by presenting the BW-e-Solar progamme. Afterwards, Conrad Hammer and Sebastian Lahmann will give an overview of the funding landscape of the National Centre Charging Infrastructure in the commercial context and will address the technical requirements of the “Non-public charging stations for electric vehicles – companies and municipalities” funding programme.  Lars Rahn (KfW) will also present the structure and procedures of the funding. Time for your questions will be available at the end of the seminar.
