The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI – Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur) will be providing funding support in the future for the installation of charging infrastructure at employee car parks for electric vehicles in company or municipal fleets as well as for work vehicles.
The new “Non-Publicly Accessible Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles – Companies and Municipalities” (“Nicht öffentlich zugängliche Ladestationen für Elektrofahrzeuge – Unternehmen und Kommunen”) funding guideline supplements existing electric mobility funding activities with an important component. Funding is available for the purchase and installation of new stationary charging stations that are not accessible to the public, including grid connection.
You can learn more about the new funding guideline in our online seminar on 24.11.2021.
Manufacturers of charging equipment can have the funding eligibility of their products checked. As long as all technical requirements are fulfilled, the products will be included in the eligible list of charging equipment. Please use this link for this purpose (in German). Further information on the funding guideline can be found Sie here.
In our online seminar, Eva Ackermann (BMVI) will begin by presenting the funding from the perspective of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. Conrad Hammer and Sebastian Lahmann will then provide an overview of the funding landscape of the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure in the commercial context and go into detail about the technical requirements in the ” Non-Publicly Accessible Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles – Companies and Municipalities” funding programme. Lars Rahn (KfW) will then outline the structure and processing of the funding scheme. At the end of the seminar there will be time for your questions.
