rHYn-main

The rHYn-main project involves the development, testing and optimisation of a regional concept for the use of local hydrogen in local public transport in the Rhine-Main region. The aim is to provide scientific support for the regional activities in the project “H2-Bus Rhein-Main”, a sub-project of the European joint project JIVE. The results obtained in the project are transferable to other transport companies that are looking into the introduction of alternative drive systems. For this purpose, the essential aspects of an H2 FC technology ramp-up are summarised in a model-based hydrogen implementation plan, based on public transport.
