Coating process for metallic bipolar plates
As part of the PreCoil project, a plant concept is to be developed for the production of coated coil material as a semi-finished product for the manufacture of metallic bipolar plates. The coating process is vacuum-free, environmentally friendly and based on conventional coating processes – therefore making it predestined for the automated large-scale production of metallic bipolar plates from continuous metallic foils. At the same time, scaling methods are being developed and researched that enable an upscaling for the required base material (graphene oxide synthesis).
