The research objective lies in the production of a novel bipolar plate (BIP) made of graphite compound, the semi-finished products of which are to be manufactured in an extrusion process and processed into a finished BIP in a downstream composite process. The project focuses on the investigation and iterative optimization of the interaction between material compositions and the technology adaptation of the downstream processes up to the applicability in NT-PEM-BZ. The virtual representation of the downstream composite process from the semi-finished product production to the joined BIP complements the project.
