Development of a modular and scalable production system for the manufacture of fuel cell stacks
The EMSigBZ project aims to facilitate the next step in the industrialisation of fuel cell stack manufacturing for assembly and testing. This will involve the development of a modular and scalable production system for the manufacture of metallic and graphite bipolar plates (BPP), the manufacture of membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) and the assembly of fuel cell stacks. Furthermore, it will also entail the prototypical realisation of a production system that has been optimised in terms of output and degree of automation.
