This is in response to the high level of interest in the funding call across the country, which is reflected in the considerable demand for information resources as well as numerous events and specialist meetings and events throughout Germany. At the same time, the requirements for the consortia’s investment decisions are very demanding in the current market environment. To address this, more time shall be made available.
In addition, there is a significant need for information among potential applicants, particularly regarding the availability of vehicles and the current range of options, the expansion and operation of refuelling infrastructure, and the development of hydrogen prices.
The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to 30 June 2026.
To provide further support, the BMV, Project Administration Jülich (PtJ) and NOW GmbH are offering an additional information webinar. This will take place on 29 April 2026 from 09:00 to 10:30. The webinar will address frequently asked questions, explain the timeline of the funding process, present helpful tools for the application process, and provide up-to-date information on vehicle availability and the range of models on offer. There will also be an opportunity to ask individual questions.
You can register for the information webinar here.
