Politics, science and business met for the first time on 30 November at the “ZUsammenKUNFT H2” conference in Hörselberg-Hainich, Thuringia, to advance dialogue amongst experts and the expansion of regional cooperation in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology at the specialist networking event.
NOW GmbH invited an audience of Thuringian experts from the fields of business and science as well as policymakers based in the region and neighbouring federal states to discuss and advance the development of the hydrogen economy and the framework conditions for successful hydrogen mobility in Thuringia. The backdrop was provided by panel discussions and expert presentations on the topic as well as best-practice examples that demonstrated the high level of potential for application in industry and mobility.
Alongside providing federal support for the activities of local companies and authorities, for example within the framework of HyLand, the funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Transport for hydrogen regions (www.hy.land), another central element of the event was the opportunity to network and establish new contacts.
A small accompanying exhibition on the topic of hydrogen mobility was also held on site. The participating companies were thereby given the opportunity to showcase their exhibits and foster dialogue on the topic. Among the exhibits were fuel cell trucks (MAN, Clean Logistics) and cars (Mirai, Nexo) as well as forklifts.
