Hydrogen Week takes place at the end of June in the car-rich state of North Rhine-Westphalia: one week with countless events on all aspects relating to mobility with hydrogen and fuel cells. Three H2 filling stations will be opened, a hydrogen test field will be presented and all facets of hydrogen will be explored at various conferences.
With 18 million residents, North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) is not only the most populated federal state in Germany, 10 million cars are also registered there. In this regard NRW is the frontrunner in Germany: in no other state are there more vehicles on the road. And so it follows that in no other state will the transport revolution affect more people. This alone, is reason enough to hold the first hydrogen week in NRW.
Toyota MIRAI, Hyundai NEXO, Honda Clarity and Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL – the first fuel cell cars are on the roads and can be seen at STRASSENLAND or taken for a test drive within the scope of Branchentag Windenergie NRW (NRW wind energy industry day). Our Electric Mobility Roadshow is accompanying both events and will give an insight into the funding landscape for battery and hydrogen mobility. The hydrogen test field at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Center (Zentrum für Brennstoffzellentechnik, ZBT), opens up the possibility for developing future solutions for hydrogen infrastructure. At the annual conference on mobility (Jahrestagung Mobilität), organised by the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen and Electric Mobility Network of EnergieAgentur.NRW, companies and associations are meeting on the issue of hydrogen. With Siegen, Duisburg and Aachen, H2 MOBILITY and their partners are celebrating additional hydrogen stations at three different locations. There will be 100 stations by the end of the year throughout Germany.
You are cordially invited to attend all events.
