On 29 April 2021, RWTH Aachen University will hold its final interactive and free workshop as part of the “BrennWertH2” project funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia to educate SMEs affected by the imminent lignite phase-out about the potential of hydrogen and fuel cell technology and to integrate them in the structural change process.

According to the compromise of the Coal Commission, the lignite phase-out in Germany will be completed by 2038 at the latest. Given this context, is your company looking for innovative ideas to participate in the energy economy of the future? Join us now in thinking about how you will tackle the upcoming structural change in the Rhenish mining area.

As part of the discussion on Europe-wide carbon emission reduction, fuel cell technology will be presented as one of the most promising concepts of this structural change. In an interactive workshop, innovation potentials are to be identified together, and a future scenario for companies is to be formulated.

Tuesday, 29.04.2021 / 10:00am – 2:00pm / Online (Zoom)
