The Sino-German Electro-Mobility Innovation and Support Center (SGEC) was established following the joint declaration on cooperation in the field of battery electric mobility and hydrogen fuel cells between the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV – Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr) and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) together with the cooperation declaration between the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) and NOW.
The SGEC hosts Sino-German cooperation projects in the fields of battery electric mobility, electric mobility with hydrogen fuel cells, safety (battery and hydrogen) and the integration of renewable energies to facilitate scientific exchange and the development of partnerships.
