NOW GmbH connects companies across different industries for dialogue about technologies and possible applications for hydrogen in the mobility area.
NOW GmbH continues its event series for networking in the hydrogen industry with the 9th Supplier Marketplace on 24 September 2024. The Supplier Marketplace is a cross-industry forum for dialogue on technologies and possible applications of hydrogen in mobility. It has established itself as an important meeting place for any company, research institute and decision-maker who deals in the challenges and opportunities of the technology. In 2024, the focus is on fuel cell production. The motto is: ‘From innovation to the market’.
Dagmar Fehler, CEO and Spokesperson of NOW GmbH: “Through close cooperation and knowledge exchange, we can advance hydrogen technology and ensure its market feasibility. This is important in the context of the ambitious climate targets and other regulatory obligations, e.g. from the EU regulation on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure (AFIR) by 2030. The market ramp-up depends on the availability of marketable components and products along the entire value chain.”
With its expertise across transport modes, NOW GmbH supports the market development and advancement of climate protection technologies in mobility. Hydrogen and renewable fuels play an important role in this. NOW GmbH supports the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) here with the necessary framework conditions and technical regulations, monitoring ongoing funding projects and providing the requisite know-how. This forms the foundation for proper innovation policy, for example, in designing funding instruments. The 9th Supplier Marketplace brings together different market actors along the value chain, highlights needs for development and action and therefore supports the industrialisation of the technology. The varied programme comprises specialist presentations, panel discussions and networking formats. Participants have the opportunity to learn about current trends and developments and make valuable contacts.
