Technical and systemic perspectives from industry and business
From an economic and ecological perspective, it makes good sense to make use of electric vehicle batteries as a means of stabilising the electricity grid in the future. By 2030, there could already be a controllable potential of up to one hundred gigawatts, which is far more than the output of all current storage types combined.
At the Vehicle-to-grid conference, experts from business, the public and science will discuss how this potential can be realised in the various fields of activity. The focus will be on possible implementations within the next few years.
Stefanie Wolff (NOW GmbH) gives a bundled overview of the activities in the field of electric mobility with battery and goes into the current funding programs of the German government.
