As part of the BMU’s Environmental Technology Export Initiative, NOW GmbH coordinates activities for the use of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies for off-grid power supply.
The aim of these activities is to conceptualise and implement lighthouse projects in selected target markets. The focus is on applications of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies with high environmental impact, value creation potential and replication character – such as the replacement of diesel generators.
We will address the following central questions in our online seminar: What is the global significance of emergency power systems for decentralised and uninterruptible power supply? What opportunities can arise for the environment, the economy and the global population by replacing diesel generators as standard? From a global perspective, we then turn our attention to the Nigerian market to discuss both the local demand and the opportunities for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and their use as emergency power systems and uninterruptible power supply.
Besides Nilgün Parker, other exciting speakers have also been confirmed.
Online seminar on 01 June 2021, 2:00–3:00pm
Event participation is free of charge.
