ZUKUNFT.DE is a multicentric model project with a geographical focus on implementation in Baden-Württemberg, Hamburg and Hesse. In this project, more than 500 fully and partially electric vans will be used for parcel delivery over the last mile, for the first time. This mainly comprises of vehicles in the 2.8 and 3.5 t classes, but also larger vehicle concepts. The goals of the project are local emission avoidance on the last mile, ensuring operational efficiency and scaling the use of electric vehicles in the CEP (courier, express, parcel service) sector.
