Having a good charging infrastructure is essential for achieving the widespread adoption of electric mobility. Additional charging points are an investment in the future and help to keep the city's air clean. The SIHK (Südwestfälische Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Hagen) has joined forces with the city of Hagen, Mark-E AG and the Kreishandwerkerschaft Hagen to improve the range of charging options for commercial users in the city area.
Sufficient and user-friendly charging stations are necessary for the further spread of electric mobility in our region. Many industrial and commercial companies will only purchase an electric vehicle if they can charge it in an acceptable amount of time and throughout the region. The “Expansion of the e-charging infrastructure – An opportunity for Hagen’s industrial and commercial enterprises” (Original Title: “Ausbau der E-Ladeinfrastruktur – Chance für Hagener Industrie- und Gewerbebetriebe”) event will provide information on the legal framework conditions for the establishment of commercial charging infrastructure, on the latest technology and on funding opportunities. Concrete examples for the installation of charging infrastructure will be presented and reports on the experiences of companies in Hagen will also be presented.
Representatives from the National Charging Centre for Charging Infrastructure, the NRW Energy Agency, the Arnsberg district government and Mark-E will be available for individual initial consultations after the event.
