- How is the CEP sector being transformed to zero-emission drives?
- What are the challenges and how can they be overcome?
- How must politics and municipalities best respond to the demands of ever-increasing parcel volumes?
These and further aspects have been investigated over the past four years by a consortium of four CEP services, two vehicle manufacturers, three scientific institutes and an energy service provider with support from the public sector. The ZUKUNFT.DE project stands for “Customer-friendly, sustainable, flexible and transparent delivery services” (from the German “Zustellverkehre kundenfreundlich, nachhaltig, flexibel und transparent”) with zero emissions. The project involved the practical testing of the electrification of parcel delivery on the so-called “last mile” since October 2018. Funding for the project has been provided by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI – Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur), is has been coordinated by NOW GmbH and implemented in the three federal states of Hamburg, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg.
The project management consisting of hySOLUTIONS GmbH, the H Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing and the state agency Landesagentur e-mobil BW GmbH cordially invites you to attend the virtual concluding event of the research project “ZUKUNFT.DE”, on Tuesday, 23 November 2021, from 11 am to 2 pm.
