A Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK – Auslandshandelskammer) trade mission on the subject of energy-efficient modules and charging solutions for electric mobility on Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will take place 11-14 November 2019.
Participation
The conference on 12 November will give German companies the opportunity to present their products and services to an audience of Chinese industry representatives. On the following days, the German Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK Greater China Beijing) will organise individual meetings for the participating German companies with potential business partners and relevant Chinese decision-makers. Wishes in this regard will be requested in advance and taken into account when scheduling the meetings.

The AHK trade mission is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Germany in the fields of energy-efficient transport solutions as well as charging solutions and energy storage technologies.
Target market China
With more than one million electric vehicles sold in 2018, China has now become the world’s leading market for electric mobility. Competition between manufacturers in different regions is fierce and, given the quota for electric vehicles introduced in 2019, manufacturers must achieve a certain number of points, which will be further increased in 2020.
In addition, the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in China is currently still in its preliminary phase. By 2020, a nationwide charging infrastructure network consisting of more than 12,000 charging and battery exchange stations as well as more than 4.8 million charging columns is to be created to cover the needs of more than 5 million electric vehicles. It is in this area that German suppliers can take advantage of the opportunity to introduce their products and experience to the Chinese market and position themselves in the newly emerging value chains. Moreover, the market also opens up new opportunities for energy-saving modules and solutions.
