NOW supports the German Ministry for the Environment in the working group on the climate-friendly use of power-to-gas technology with the New Energy and Technology Development Organization (NEDO). In cooperation with the responsible technical unit of NEDO, NOW GmbH identifies and acquires partners from German and Japanese science and industry for the purpose of implementing a joint cooperation project aimed at the climate-friendly application of power-to-gas technology.
Suitable locations for a demonstration project in Japan are being defined within the scope of this project. Furthermore, project approaches that have been identified are being reviewed for their feasibility for the implementation of a demonstration project.
Additionally, in cooperation with NEDO, the exchange of information on current issues regarding the integration and operation of power-to-gas is being expanded in the form of regular joint workshops.
