NOW GmbH is now publishing the latest facts and figures on the ramp-up of electric mobility at www.elektromobilitaetsmonitor.de. This information is supplemented by the new website www.elektromobilitaet-now.de, which brings together 15 years of NOW knowledge on the topic of battery-electric mobility.

The ElektromobilitätsMONITOR is NOW GmbH’s new central point of contact for facts and figures on the status of the market ramp-up of electric mobility. It provides details on:

  • New registration and stock figures across all drive types and various modes of transport (cars, buses, commercial vehicles)
  • Comprehensive analyses of vehicle models and segments, owner types (commercial/private) and figures on electric passenger car registrations

The MONITOR shows which vehicle segments are particularly in demand on the German market as well as revealing which car models were registered most frequently. For the first time, the monthly new registration figures are presented in the context of relevant events, such as the introduction or abolition of innovation and environmental bonuses, company car taxation or the cut-off dates for CO2 fleet limits.

There is also an analysis of the deregistration and re-registration of cars, buses and commercial vehicles. This shows, for example, that more petrol cars have been deregistered than registered since 2020 – and that used cars with electric drives play an important role in the commercial market.

In addition to the detailed monthly reports, further reports are planned on the topics of leasing and price trends.

Meanwhile, at www.elektromobilität-now.de, representatives from local municipalities, federal and state ministries, companies, science and research, trade associations and electric mobility enthusiasts can find the latest news and events on the topic of electric mobility, including:
