The “Charging Infrastructure Conference 2022” of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport will take place for the first time as a hybrid event in Berlin on 29.06.2022.
Road transport must be “electrified” quickly. This requires a comprehensive, demand-oriented and user-friendly charging infrastructure. The charging infrastructure conference is therefore intended to establish itself as a central and innovative platform for the exchange of information on charging infrastructure in Germany. Its focus is on challenges and solutions for a successful overall charging infrastructure system at the municipal, supra-regional and international level. The conference addresses high-ranking decision-makers at EU, federal, state and municipal level, companies from the (“automotive”) industry, energy supply, grid operation and the operation and production of charging infrastructure, members of the advisory board of the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure and a broad specialist public.
The conference is intended to highlight the central importance of establishing a comprehensive charging infrastructure throughout Germany for the success of battery-electric mobility and for achieving the federal government’s transport and climate policy goals. It aims to report on the progress and further goals of charging infrastructure development in Germany.
The event is organised by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV – Bundesministerium für Digital and Transport) and hosted by NOW GmbH and the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure.
