We warmly invite you to our 11th workshop in the series of the “Approval – Certification – Standardisation” series of events in the field of fuel cells and hydrogen.

As in previous years, the event is being organised jointly by the research institutes DLR Institute for Networked Energy Systems, Fraunhofer ISE and the ZBT.

The main topic this year is “How much regulation do we need for the market?”

We will be focusing on approval issues in the development of a hydrogen infrastructure. Here, the topics of industrial standards as well as current work in the field of vehicle approval standards will be examined in more detail. The topics of approval, certification and standardisation will again be supplemented by various practical examples. A keynote lecture on standardisation with examples of hydrogen and fuel cell applications as well as the presentation of national standardisation activities will round off the event.

The workshop is aimed at fuel cell and electrolysis system manufacturers, certification bodies and system integrators for the mobile and stationary sectors, end users and operators of such systems as well as research institutions.

Numerous interactive elements will provide all speakers and participants with ample opportunities for exchange – including during the joint digital breaks.

The workshop, which will take place over two half days, with various discussion forums and a virtual evening event, offers the opportunity to exchange views with many like-minded people on the current codes and standards as well as the points that are still unresolved in this context.

The online workshop will be held 23-24 February 2022.
