Strong regional partners are required for electric mobility to be successfully implemented throughout Germany. A main focus of the Elektromobilität vor Ort conference of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) is the networking of all players in the field of electric mobility and the facilitation of lively exchanges of information among attendees. Location of the conference, which is taking place for the fourth time on 21 & 22 February 2017, is Munich.

The Elektromobilität vor Ort conference is aimed at representatives from municipalities, municipal companies and transport services as well as vehicle fleet operators seeking and developing practical solutions for the deployment of electric vehicles in a regional context. Over two conference days, experiences made in individual funding projects of the BMVI will be presented along with global results of the Electromobility Model Regions and Showcase projects as well as from the National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). These comprise the basis for valuable recommendations for action and guidelines on specific approaches, which will be explored and discussed at the conference.
