InProPlate

Development of innovative manufacturing processes for bipolar plates and stacks for fuel cells as APUs and/or range extenders

The InProPlate project involves the development of innovative manufacturing processes for the bipolar plate and stack fuel cell components. The goals are higher manufacturing efficiency, greater production capacity, improved reproducibility through automation / mechanisation and a reduction in production costs. The bipolar plates / stacks are used in HTPEM range extenders for electric vehicles. Furthermore, the production technology of the plates is also used for LTPEM in the APU sector and maritime applications.
