RiverCell2 is the planned, practical, continuation of RiverCell1 and builds on the basic concepts and findings developed therein. In RiverCell2, the modular hybridisation of the complete energy supply with fuel cells and alternative fuels for river cruise ships will be developed in detail for the first time and trialled in a test facility on land, followed subsequently by a test installation on board a river cruise ship.
