Expertise for the development and production of fuel cell stacks is to be strengthened in this project. This involves developing and testing the manufacturing steps for the production of fuel cell stacks with the aid of demonstrator and prototype facilities. The individual production steps (stacking, further processing and material handling) for manufacturing a fuel cell stack are to be researched, tested and examined in a “stack formation” demonstrator plant and an overall “stack assembly” plant.
