With the CNG Mobility Days on 25 and 26 June in Berlin, the Volkswagen Group, gas network operators and CNG filling station operators will continue their initiative to expand natural gas mobility in Germany. A large number of brand new CNG vehicles, such as the SEAT Arona TGI, VW Polo and VW Golf, will be ready for test drives. As a special highlight, the Volkswagen Group is presenting CNG vehicles with the new 1.5 TGI evo natural gas high-tech engine, which is installed in the TGI models VW Golf, SEAT Leon, Škoda Octavia and Audi A3.
With the new vehicles, the fleet of passenger cars from all VW Group brands that are suitable for CNG operation has grown to 17 models: the new Škoda Scala will be launched in the course of 2019. In addition, the Volkswagen Truck & Bus subsidiary, to which the MAN and Scania brands belong, will also be introducing ultra-modern and efficient natural gas vehicles.
