igh-volume production of graphite bipolar plates – scaling up to high-volume applications to achieve cost targets in the logistics and freight transport sector (GroProBiP)

The objective of this project is to demonstrate the scalability and automatability of the manufacturing process of graphitic bipolar plates to achieve the required cost targets as well as the operability of the forecasted quantities in the double-digit million range using a near-series production line (TRL 8). In this production line, a critical central core technology is the leak test of the graphitic bipolar plate module.
