On 15 May 2025, Thomas Eberhardt will join the management team at the federally owned NOW GmbH as second managing director and COO. He will serve alongside Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and spokesperson Dagmar Fehler, whose contract has been extended. Eberhardt succeeds Alina Hain, who departed the company on 24 April 2025.
Thomas Eberhardt, who holds degrees in business administration from Germany and the USA, began his professional career at Daimler AG and then spent many years in management positions at Toll Collect GmbH, most recently as Managing Director (CFO/COO). Since 2019, he has been working as a consultant in the transport and infrastructure sector. His focus is on the transformation of business models in the field of mobility, supporting organisational change and optimising operational processes.
In his new role, he will assume overall operational responsibility and will play a key part in shaping the strategic development of the company. With the appointment of Thomas Eberhardt as COO, NOW GmbH has reached an important milestone in its strategic realignment process, which was initiated in September 2024 due to changes in the federal government’s budgetary situation.
