On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV), we are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Industry Dialogue on eSAF Market Uptake.
Germany intends to support eSAF market uptake with up to EUR 2 billion via a double-sided auction mechanism. The aim of the Industry Dialogue is to inform interested stakeholders about Germany’s plans, and to gather insights from relevant stakeholders for the design of the funding mechanism.
The Industry Dialogue will take place in the form of virtual events.
Part 1: Presentation of the political framework and the funding mechanism
This first virtual session will introduce the political framework, outline the current status of the eSAF market, and present the planned auction mechanism.

Part 2: Workshops on the eSAF value chain
To enable a constructive exchange and discussion, two dedicated workshops will address key segments of the eSAF value chain. The workshops on the production (HPA) side and on the offtake (HSA) side will present the envisaged auction design and provide opportunity for discussion.
The workshops will be limited in size. We therefore invite particularly industry stakeholders, who are relevant to these segments of the value chain and interested in contributing to the ramp-up of the eSAF market. We will also limit participation to one representative per organization. If registrations exceed capacity, places may be allocated by lottery.
All participants are kindly requested to register by 27 February 2026.
