In the project, the influence of MEA manufacturing quality and cleanliness on the performance characteristics and degradation behavior of PEM fuel cell stacks is researched.

For this purpose, the bipolar plate of the generic stack design from HyFaB-Baden-Württemberg is provided as an “open source platform”.
