Preparatory research to create a data basis for the necessary adaptation of the ISO standard for hydrogen delivery quality at filling stations

The aim of H2-Fuel is to create a data basis for the necessary adaptation of the ISO standard for hydrogen delivery quality at filling stations, taking into account current and future fuel cell configurations as well as the economic efficiency of the overall system. To this end, extensive investigations of fuel cells will be carried out and a cost-effective inline sensor for hydrogen filling stations will be developed. In addition, a cost model is being developed to determine the optimal balance between the costs of ensuring hydrogen quality and the costs of system-side measures to improve service life.
