Under the motto “Clean drives. Efficiently produced.”, the 2nd Fuel Cell Conference Chemnitz will address the aspects of fuel cells suitable for series production and their hydrogen powertrains as well as their efficient production through state-of-the-art production processes.
With the first series-produced vehicles, the National Hydrogen Strategy and the European Hydrogen Strategy 2020, efficient and carbon-neutral fuel cell technology has received a major boost as a drive system for vehicles. Hydrogen drives with fuel cells meet modern mobility requirements for low emissions and long ranges, while simultaneously keeping refueling times short. However, the factor of hydrogen supply infrastructure is the main obstacle to its widespread acceptance. Furthermore, reducing the currently high production and material costs is the greatest challenge, which will be discussed at the scientific conference.
The conference is being organised by the “HZwo – Antrieb für Sachsen” innovation cluster in Saxony and will take place at the Carlowitz Congress Center in Chemnitz. It is aimed at researchers and engineers from Germany and Europe to discuss the latest trends and developments from research and industrial application. NOW GmbH is an event partner of the conference.
