The Advisory Board has the task of providing both content and technical consultation support to the management of the programme partners for the implementation of the “National Innovation Programme for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology” (NIP). In this context, its consultation support extends especially to:
- The merging of individual strategies into an overall programme on the basis of the National Development Plan
- Regular evaluation of the consistency and relevance of the overall programme, and
- European and international aspects.
Furthermore, the tasks of the Advisory Board encompass following aspects:
- The coordination of interests between partners and establishing consensus
- The exchange of information between government, industry and science
- Feedback to the various relevant sectors or Ministries
